| Brief Biography: Joseph Edward Studer, 78, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Missouri Veteran's Home in Cameron, Missouri.
Joseph was born December 13, 1937 to Joseph and Eveadell (Smith) Studer in Wathena, Kansas.
He served in the United States Army. He retired from Silgan Containers in May 2000. He was a member of the St. Joseph Area Water Garden Society. He enjoyed raising horses and tending to his flowers.
Joseph married Ann Bartlett on March 29, 1974. She preceded him in death.
Joseph was also preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles.
He is survived by his two sisters, Beverly (Paul) Gardner, Clarksdale, MO; and Barbara Spainhower, Cameron, MO; brother, Louis (Janice) Studer, Columbia, MO; nephews, Jeffry Gardner, Scott Studer, Bruce, Craig and Kent Studer; nieces, Juli Nelson, Paige Simpson, Jennifer Burnett and Angela Calloway.
Mr. Studer has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Memorial Service 10:00 AM Saturday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Inurnment Mount Mora Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Joseph Area Water Garden Society.
