| Brief Biography: Obituary from St. Joseph Gazette Nov 15, 1962: Mrs. Ada L. Beaty, 83, widow of John R.Beaty, died Wednesday night at a local hospital after a long illness. A native of Kob Noster, Mo., she had been a resident of St. Joseph for 35 years. She was a member of the King Hill Methodist Church. Survivors include two stepsons, Ola Laughlin, San Diego, Cal., and Charles E. Beaty St. Joseph, owner of Beaty Grocery Co., and two step-daughters, Mrs. Thomas A. Freeman and Mrs. Ellen Ray, St. Joseph. The body is at the Meierhoffer-Fleeman mortuary. |
