Mrs. Whitehead was born in Nodaway county and has lived in St. Joseph 50 years. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Surviving are two stepsons, Emrey L., Rapid City, S.D., and Thomas Aubrey Whitehead, Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Louise Marie Koss, St. Joseph; a brother W.C. Kroth, Shreveport, La., and three grandchildren.
